YUMA TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Applicants to our Arizona commercial driver’s license (CDL) training program must either possess a high school diploma or a recognized equivalent, such as a GED. Applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent must provide proper documentation to the institute showing a graduation date or a transcript of the GED test scores. This will be kept on file by Yuma Truck Driving School.
Depending on the program, applicants may demonstrate their ability to benefit from training by passing an approved test. This would replace the requirement of providing a high school diploma or equivalent. This test will have been reviewed by a qualified, independent third party to ensure it is appropriate for admissions decisions. The third party will also determine the score levels that will be necessary for a student to be accepted. The goal of this process is to help ensure a substantial number of students will complete training and obtain employment in the industry for which training was provided.
