Class A CDL Training

Start Your Career Driving Tractor-Trailers & Heavy Commercial Vehicles

A Class A CDL is required for operating tractor-trailers, semi-trucks, and other large commercial vehicles. This license offers the most flexibility and earning potential in the trucking industry, allowing drivers to work for over-the-road (OTR), regional, and local carriers.

What You’ll Learn: You’ll gain the skills needed to operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and confidently. Training includes CDL permit preparation, pre-trip inspections, defensive driving techniques, and proper vehicle handling.

You’ll also learn how to back, turn, and maneuver large trucks, understand key trucking regulations, and complete hands-on road training with experienced instructors.

Flexible scheduling available: Day, evening, full-time, and part-time classes.

Class B CDL Training

Drive Straight Trucks, Buses, and Other Commercial Vehicles

A Class B CDL allows you to operate commercial vehicles that do not require a trailer attachment, such as box trucks, delivery trucks, dump trucks, and passenger buses. This is an excellent option for individuals seeking local or regional driving positions with steady hours and great pay.

What You’ll Learn: Vehicle operation for straight trucks and buses, CDL permit training and pre-trip inspections, mastering braking, turning, and maneuvering Class B vehicles, safe driving techniques in urban and highway settings, understanding air brakes and hydraulic braking systems, and compliance with federal and state trucking regulations.

Flexible training schedules available to fit your needs.

Take Your CDL Exam with Confidence

Yuma Truck Driving School is an authorized third-party CDL testing provider, meaning you can take your official CDL skills test with us instead of waiting for a state testing facility appointment.
